Are you a geography PhD student? Want to gain experience of teaching at university while completing your doctorate? This 1-hour webinar is for you.

The webinar, organised with the Society’s Geography and Education Research Group, will bring together a panel of speakers to examine the ins and outs of gaining higher education teaching experience.

We’ll discuss topics such as how to find teaching opportunities, how to successfully apply for them, and how to balance teaching and research. The panel will include recent PhD students as well as experienced academics.

Speakers include Alice Lacsny and Edward Amego Gakpe from the University of Glasgow.

There will be plenty of time for audience input and questions, so please bring along any questions you have.
