Staged by year the programme includes:

  • Support in planning, recording and reflecting on Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Introductory and advanced webinars, including Application Accelerators and Professional Development Insight events.
  • Opportunities to join a professional network, such as a Professional Practice Group.
  • One-to-one mentorship through the Chartership application process.
  • Tailored advice and recommended activities for specific career interests.
  • Networking opportunities and peer support.

The pathway is open to anyone ahead of CGeog eligibility who is using geographical knowledge and skills in their professional practice and is committed to maintaining a record of Continuing Professional Development in the Society’s MyCPD, to be reviewed annually.

Individuals must become a Fellow or an Associate Fellow of the Society.
